Equipment list for gym workouts

Should you choose to use equipment, see below for a list of the recommendations.  For a complete list of all equipment on Amazon, you can visit the Sophia Dalton Equipment List.

Most gyms have extra equipment, like bands at the front desk. If they don’t, see below for a list of the recommendations.

Machines and hard equipment required for the entire month: Lat pull down machine, leg press machine, cable machines, long bar, short bar, dumbbells, tricep rope, abductor and adductor machines, leg extension and hamstring curl machines, a bench, and a battle rope (battle rope not necessary, but included in exercises along with alternatives if a battle rope is not present). If you don’t know what any of these machines look like, ask the front desk to show you, or check my YouTube videos for more visuals.

Recommended Optional Equipment:  The list below will provide you with items to choose from, in order to make the most out of your workout. You can easily bring bands with you in a gym bag if the gym does not provide you with any.

Kickboxing target paddle:

  •  If you can’t get it, I have included other exercises similar to what I would have you use this for.

Stopwatch, clock, wristwatch, or timer on your phone

 If you are pregnant

  •  Be sure to ask your doctor how to wear it.

Optional:

  •  Omni Neck support pillow

    • If you can’t get this it’s ok, it’s just extra support for those of you that may work at computers, have neck issues or hunch a lot.
