In 2010, I went from 140 lbs. to 240 lbs. During my pregnancy.
I know… unreal. A hundred-pound gain! I was exercising every day, but gaining weight faster than I could say, “whoops!” I had trained so many people over the years who struggled with weight gain, and I always knew how to motivate them.
But I had never experienced serious weight gain firsthand.
People would say things like, “you’re not fat, you’re pregnant,” yet the reality was that a month after giving birth, I had 85 pounds I needed to lose. I was exhausted and depressed. I finally understood the struggle.
